What new functionality do you need?

For ufs-weather-model PR ufs-community/ufs-weather-model#2621 is merged and updated in global-workflow, there will be required WW3 IC updates.

Issues for the actual static data updates will be created when we have the new ICs, but this issue is to inform/track the overall need.

What are the requirements for the new functionality?

Update ufs-weather-model with ufs-community/ufs-weather-model#2621 and all CI passes.

Acceptance Criteria

  • CI passes with new UFS & new WW3 ICs

Suggest a solution (optional)

ICs that will need to be updated:

  • GEFS
  • C48mx500 WW3
  • High res
