What new functionality do you need?

Be able to run atmospheric DA experiments on AWS using unrestricted obs data.

What are the requirements for the new functionality?

Requires transferring obs data from Hera into accessible storage for AWS compute instance. Need to decide storage type. Also requires checking env variables for prep and cleanup of obs when running on AWS. Need to have atmospheric DA CI tests enabled on AWS.

Acceptance Criteria

• pass CI testing on Hera
• pass C96_atm3DVar test on AWS
• pass C96C48_hybatmDA test on AWS
