The context around this is a Soccer Kid is an unofficial release. It was being made during the Jaguar's lifecycle, but never released. There are two versions in redump, normal and beta. The beta version boots with checksums enabled, the "release" version does not. It's unclear what the differences are considering the rom file sizes are identical.
