What happened?

I'm using the 8719514440937 model.

I have enabled the legacy actions.

It used to work reliably (prior to the migration to 2.0.0 commit: 060ae99cff715cc9ef6a0cfa7cae0cdcb17f0c8a that I did today).

It works extremely rarely now (and I can't figure out the conditions under which it does, it's not restart/repairing related or somesuch it seems) - then I get the right actions.

When it doesn't, there's nothing in the debug logs, as if the device doesn't exist.

The device LED lights up on button press, the battery is full, LQI isn't great but at 35 on one, I've got devices that are worse but still work. The other Tap Dial has an LQI of 153 and exhibits the same problems.

Running the zstack3x0 20240710 firmware which has been very solid for me for months now.

The devices themselves are at 2.59.25 which appears to be the latest and hasn't been updated in a bit.

I've tried repairing, no luck. Seems that might have made it worse (I saw a "device_announce" message but nothing since, and the LED doesn't light up anymore either?).

I don't understand what's happening, because it looks like that specific part of the code in the herdsman converter hasn't actually changed except for formatting in a while.

Is something else affecting it or am I having a bad network day?

What did you expect to happen?

Button presses and actions to work consistently.

How to reproduce it (minimal and precise)

The device just stops triggering anything somehow?
