Cannot access to Fred Data

I added MarketData package and try to get the data from Fred. But it didn't work.
Can anyone tell me if there is any problems with the package or the function?

Old FRED API Discontinued?

I don't think the API that the fred function uses exists anymore. The current API (as of January 2025) seems to be documented at:

https://fred.stlouisfed.org/docs/api/fred/

...and requires an API key to use.
