Is it possible to implement RFC 3161 trusted timestamps through the application? (e.g. http://timestamp.digicert.com )
That would be useful.

Is the timestamping feature implemented in editor plugin itself?
Are all plugins come ONLY bundled with the package or is there any external repo to download some from?

You can activate plugins in the Options, they are bundled with the application. Timestamps should be implemented for reading, but not for writing.

Sorry for not being clear. But I am talking about the RFC3161 timestamping mechanism. Not the text timestamping.
Read about the same here
