Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)
I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists
Steps to reproduce the behaviour
I have two monitors connected to my PC. I open JabRef and maximize it on one of the monitors. Everything works normally up to this point. However, when I close JabRef and reopen it, the application opens without the top window bar where you would usually find the minimize and close buttons. The taskbar of Linux Mint is also not visible, and JabRef cannot be moved or resized (see screenshot). Shortcuts like Alt + F5 to resize the window do not work either. The menu bar is also bugy: when you click on a menu item, the corresponding dropdown menu opens but immediately closes again as soon as you release the mouse button, making it unusable. The only way to close the program is by using Alt + F4. Occasionally, JabRef opens correctly if I change the screen resolution before launching it. I haven't figured out exactly when this works and when it does not; I just try different settings.
