[Feature Request]: Automatic Backups Upon Syncing Changes

Feature Description

To prevent risky changes on accident, and allow easier recovery, a nice feature would be to automatically create a backup upon syncing changes if settings are enabled to do so.
An example of how this could be used is with automatic backup of the backups folder to the cloud, to then allow very quick switching between devices when working in a team which could be further combined with with other systems to reduce risk of merge conflicts.
