[Bug]: Workspace not changing to other when last tab closed

Bug Summary

So if i have 1 tab in lets say workspace number 1, i close it, it changes to the most recent workspace tab, but the indicator of the workspace doesnt change (my vocab is so bad, check the video i have provided b4 tagging not-reproducible/closing the issue...)

2. boom new tab opened but workspace indicator not changed

point to be noted, the workspace selection order is somewhat jumbled like it should be switching to the recently switched from workspace but it switches to the former workspace...
