(For those that got an e-mail notif, I accidentally submitted this issue before writing a question.)

Just curious if anyone has any links to ExtendScript code completion/intellisense package for Atom/Sublime?

Also, is this an ok place for these kinds of questions?

I would actually be interested in seeing any ExtendScript completion/intellisense packages for any editor. :)

I started something like it. I'll create a repo when I'm back from the vacation.

Aweeeesome. I definitely would not mind contributing to that project. Atom is in dire need of ExtendScript code completion. Would love to see what you've been working on (even if not Atom-based).

Enjoy the rest of your vacation!

I've not use it, but there seems to be something about Sublime completion here:

https://github.com/grefel/extendscriptApiDocTransformations

I also attempted to get auto-completion for IntelliJ products working at one point in the past. I did get it working, but never well enough to be usable. It would be good to revisit this again!

Interesting! Thanks for the linkage. 👍

Yah, sounds like a worthy project to revisit. I'd be interested in seeing for sure.

Let me know if it works out. :)

I'll see if I have some time to resurrect the project.

Sounds good. No pressure at all. I totally get the time thing (so many things to do, so little time in the day(s)). :octocat:

Been exploring something like this for VS Code, as that's what I do extensions with. Other projects have been taking priority, but I'll keep this thread in mind if/when I revisit it.

@mhulse I'm back in Berlin. Actually my effort on creating a sublime package is already here on the Org. https://github.com/ExtendScript/Sublime-ExtendScript

Ah, I totally overlooked that repo (I think I have seen it multiple times too). Anyway, looking over in more detail now! 👍

If you're ok with writing typescript, Microsoft Visual Studio Code + atarabi's definition files works really well. It's for AfterEffects, but the es* files will probably work on other products as well.
