Just put a bunch of .m4a files (aac codec) it 'successfully' converted them all (all outputs in the desired .wav format, but no audio and 0ms length) - but the originals still get deleted, as if the conversion is supported.

Not sure there is even something I can do about it.
FlicFlac just runs an external executable to convert - if it was successful (zero exit code) then this is how it treats it.
Probably the only sane thing to do is to drop support for this format.
I need a sample m4a file that does not work if I am to look into it.
All the samples I have found (through an admittedly shallow search) convert successfully.
