Inconsistent validation messages and icon display. #1264

We can see three different behaviors that could be consistent.
The two inputs shows the validation error message. The text area does not. It would be important that all validation errors became visible.

The alert icon shows for the min length, but not the required alert. And it never shows on the text area.
