Steps to Reproduce:
Open the visual document editor.
Highlight a specific word or phrase within a text block.
Attempt to edit the highlighted selection.

Expected Behavior:
The highlighted words should be editable without affecting the surrounding text or entire block.

Actual Behavior:
Editing the highlighted words results in changes to the entire block of text.
