When I go to Desktop Mode I sometimes need to go back to gaming mode without restarting my PC.
There is an "app" for that on the dock but when I use it a black border appear all around my screen. It's like one inch black (75" TV).

The only way to fix this is to restart the PC... This isn't ideal

I am running an up to date ChimeraOS on Ryzen 5 3600 and a Radeon RX 6600 8GB

You can switch back to Gamescope by ending the desktop session: try this !
=> It might not the same as launching the app i.e. maybe the app is embedding Gamescope inside a window vs quitting Gnome starts a gamescope session again without any wrapper around it.
