When a user clicks "OK" Button on Backup Database Dialog, CUBRID Manager requests all backup information(volume path, Backup level, Backup directory path etc.) that the user input to CM Server.
CUBRID Manager Server (in CUBRID Server) validates "Backup directory path" value when the value is requested. At this moment, the validation goes wrong.
http://jira.cubrid.org/browse/TOOLS-3553 This issue is CUBRID Engine issue. but it has been fixed in 8.4.4.6001. If it is user case, please let user upgrade CUBRID into the lastest version of 8.4.4. The install binary path http://ftp.cubrid.org/CUBRID_Engine/8.4.4/
In other words, it is due to the bug in CUBRID Engine 8.4.4.00227, you have two opions
upgrade your CUBRID Engine version to 8.4.4.6001 or higher
run backup command in Windows 2012 Server, not CUBRID Manager, as described above ('start' -> 'Run' and run backup command)
cubrid backupdb -D C:\CUBRID\databases\hoteltv\backup -l 0 -z hoteltv
