Not an issue but rather a question. Is this repo going to be outdated against microsoft copilot?. Sorry if it is a stupid but from what I understood, copilot will do everything that this repo does so for an org I dont see the point on using this...

Can someone give explain me if I am wrong.

I am not an expert on MS Copilot (most of us found out at the same time as the external community), but it looks like it's based off Sharepoint documents for an organization. So, for developers who were using this repo primarily to search Sharepoint documents, they can hopefully use MS Copilot instead. However, I think there are quite a few developers that are indexing other data sources or customizing the experience in other ways, so this repo can still be a great starting-off point for those developers.

Let's see if it's more than just SharePoint. If Copilot indexes my 30Gb of OneDrive pdfs, emails and MS Word docs and Outlook email then lets me do NLP for $30 per month, that's the deal of the decade for productivity.

I haven't come across a demo of "chat your org data" in MS 365, which leads me to believe that this project will retain its relevance in the future. Particularly, parsing Excel might present challenges, and it could be a while before that functionality becomes available.

I am also curious to know if someone had tried "chat your org data" with copilot and this architecture. It would be interesting to learn about there findings.
@zhongshuai-cao Adding to your thought, is it because we are spending more money in this architecture for all the expensive services like(azure applied ai services, cognitive search) for processing relatively very less amount of data compared to copilot. And why is it costing so less despite having huge number of capabilities?
